| Product Overview

1.Vegetable oleic acid (main component: cis-9-octadecenoic acid, molecular formula C₁₈H₃₄O₂) is a mixed fatty acid produced via hydrolysis and refining of vegetable oils. It is widely applied in the chemical, daily chemical, textile, plastics and other industries.

2.Basic Properties
At room temperature, it appears as a pale yellow to brownish yellow transparent oily liquid. It is insoluble in water, yet soluble in organic solvents including ethanol, ethyl ether and acetone. It is susceptible to oxidation and color deepening when exposed to air.

3.Main Sources
It is derived from the hydrolysis and separation of various vegetable oils, such as soybean oil, rapeseed oil, palm oil, sunflower seed oil and cottonseed oil.

4.Core Applications
  4.1 Industrial Sector: Plastic plasticizers, engineering plastics, synthetic fibers, nylon, mineral processing reagents, metal cutting fluids, mold release agents.
  4.2 Daily Chemical Sector: Detergents, soaps, cosmetics, textile oil agents.
  4.3 Other Applications: Printing inks, waxed paper, carbon paper, wood preservatives, demulsifiers, etc.

Storage and Transportation Requirements:

①Transported as non-hazardous goods.
②Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated environment, protected from direct sunlight, rain exposure and high temperature.
③Keep in sealed containers. Shelf life is 12 months for unopened packages.
④Do not store or transport together with acids, alkalis and corrosive substances.
